What is Women4Women?

Women4Women is a Brooklyn-based nonprofit that empowers women who have experienced domestic violence. We provide long-term support through housing assistance, job training, childcare, and emotional wellness programs. In doing so, we help survivors rebuild stable, independent lives.

How can I support Women4Women?

You can support our mission by donating, joining our monthly giving program, volunteering, coming to our events, or sharing our work with your network. Each of these actions helps us reach more women in need and expand our impact.

Where is Women4Women located?

We are based in Brooklyn, New York. From there, our team collaborates closely with local partners and community members to serve women throughout the borough.

Are donations to Women4Women tax-deductible?

Yes, Women4Women is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit. Therefore, all donations are tax-deductible as allowed by U.S. law. You will receive a confirmation and tax receipt via email.

Does Women4Women provide emergency or crisis services?

No. We are not a crisis shelter or emergency response provider. If you are in immediate danger, please call 911. For urgent help, contact the National Domestic Violence Hotline at 1-800-799-7233 or visit thehotline.org.

When was Women4Women founded and why?

Founded in Brooklyn in 2021, Women4Women is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit created to support underserved women facing economic and social challenges after domestic violence. Since then, we’ve been working to provide them with long-term solutions.

What are your “All‑In” and “Referral” programs?

Our flagship “All‑In” program offers housing and government benefits assistance, financial and legal advising, education and job support, childcare, therapy, administrative help, advocacy, and emergency funding—helping women regain stability and independence. Additionally, through our referral program, we connect survivors to trusted expert organizations and professionals for specialized support beyond our core services.

How does my donation help?

Your contribution helps extend our “All‑In” program to more women. Even a small monthly gift—like $10—makes a meaningful difference by funding essential services and volunteer support.

What is your “Thrive Academy”?

It’s a skill-building space that offers real, concrete resources to our community. In other words, it equips women with practical tools to thrive long-term.
